The days are getting shorter and cooler. It’s time to curl up under a warm blanket and read/listen to a classic. The titles on this list are some of the novels that you may have read when you were a student. Now is the time to revisit them. Michael Dirda, the 1993 Pulitzer Prize winning critic defined a classic as a book that “can be read again and again with ever- deepening pleasure”.The passage of time will give you new insight into the characters and the plots.
