Let’s pay tribute to the generations of Jewish Americans who helped create the rich history and culture of America. The month of May was declared Jewish American Heritage Month by President George W. Bush in 2006. In this booklist, we’ve included biographies that highlight Jewish Americans as well as fiction that includes characters and/or settings that explore themes of being Jewish in the United States.
