Indigenous Peoples’ Day

| | ,

This year, Monday October 9 is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, a day to celebrate the rich cultures of the original and enduring inhabitants of this land, as well as to recognize historical wrongs they were subjected to. Today’s Indigenous writers and artists are putting out some incredible books that can educate, inspire, entertain, and invite contemplation. On this list of recent books by Native creators, you will find fiction and nonfiction for children of all ages, from picture books up through middle grade.  Happy reading!
