October 10th, 2022 marks the second year the town of Winchester has officially recognized Indigenous Peoples’ Day. It is a day to honor the first inhabitants of our country and celebrate their many contributions, as well as their resilience. It’s also a perfect time to read a book about the experience of native people and expand our understanding of indigenous communities.
