Bowie’s Favorite Books

|

Aside from being one of the most influential recording artists of all time, a fashion icon,  a revolutionary pop culture figure, and Jereth from Labyrinth, David Bowie was a well known bibliophile. Stories abound about his love for books and his voracious reading habit. Before his death he published a list of his top 100 books, offering a peek inside the mind of the artist and giving readers everywhere a way to follow in his footsteps. The list spans time periods and genres and ranges from the popular to the obscure.  The entire list can be found in many places online, as well as in the book Bowie’s Bookshelf by John O’Connell, but here are a few highlights to get you started on your journey to read like Bowie.
