During the month of May we have been recognizing the contributions and the influence of Asian Americans on the development and culture of the United States. This list focuses on newly published works of fiction. One title is described as a “lyrical heist novel”. Some of the themes include “a search for new beginnings”, “a complicated love story”, “surreal and sprawling” and “a story of mothers and daughters. There are dystopian and fantasy novels on the list too. Most of these titles are available in a variety of formats.
