During the month of May we have been recognizing the contributions and the influence of Asian Americans on the development and culture of the United States. This booklist includes works of fiction and memoirs. By focusing on these titles we will gain insight into the life experience of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. Some of the themes in these titles include fantasy, coming of age, cultural conflicts and immigration issues. Most of these titles are available in a variety of formats.
