As a library card holder, you can request books, movies, music, and other items from libraries across in the country:
Find it locally: Winchester is part of the Minuteman Library Network (MLN), which is made up of 43 public and academic libraries in the greater Boston area. All MLN holdings, including Winchester's, can be found and requested in the Minuteman catalog. This is a self-service catalog. You'll need your library card number and PIN.
Search state-wide: If you can't find what you're looking for in MLN, you can use the Commonwealth Catalog (ComCat), which contains the holdings of libraries accross Massachusetts. This is a self-service catalog. You'll need your library card number and PIN.
Search across the country: If your item is not available in MLN or ComCat, you can try WorldCat. This catalog contains holdings from libraries across the world. If you find an item in WorldCat that is available in the Continental United States, you can contact our Referece Desk and we can put in a request for you. E-mail us with your request or give us a call at 781-721-7171 x320. There is currently no self-service option for WorldCat.
