In Flight with the Museum of Science!

Yesterday we had a visit from the Museum of Science! They brought all kinds of tools and toys to help us understand how objects are able to fly! Thank you to Winchester Town Hall for letting us borrow the auditorium!

The Buzz on Bees!

Bees in the library! Yes! This Saturday we had a visit from The Barefoot Bee beekeepers. They brought real, live bees (see below for a picture of the portable hive), tools they use to work with the bees and also explained just how important bees are to our everyday life! It was quite a learning experience! For more information on bees stop by the Children's Room and check out a book today!
