We just held our first LEGO SumoBots Battle, or "SuGO" for short.  "The Crazy Cool Kids of VO" and "Team Max" put up a valiant fight, but "The Blazing Programmer"s and "The A Team" emerged victorious. They will face off against each other in two weeks, on November 2.

Next week on October 26, four more teams will compete for the honor of entering the semi-final.

Each team starts with a preprogrammed base bot, to which they can alter or add any of the available LEGO pieces. They may also reprogram the rebot if they wish.

The battle takes place on a raised disk. The object is to knock the other team's robot off the platform, and best out of three wins the match.
