Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Crafts!

Yesterday the kids got creative with some everyday, recyclable materials! Paper plates turned into rainbows, paper towel tubes turned into periscopes and popsicle sticks turned into puppets!

Monster Crafts

Halloween is one of our favorite holidays, so we get an early start around here. Check out these silly, not-so-spooky monsters we made in storytime:

Mad Science Crafts!

On Thursday we hosted an awesome, exciting and inventive craft program! The kids had a great time making robot necklaces, mad scientist goggles and much, much more!

Halloween Happenings!

We love Halloween here at the library! We've been celebrating all month long! Our friend Mary Jo Maichack stopped by to sing us spooky songs and tell us scary stories, we've been making a lot of very creepy crafts and some kids even came dressed in their Halloween best for storytime! Trick or Treat! Happy Halloween!

Storytime Superheroes

Bad guys beware! The Fortress of Awesomeness (also known as the Winchester Public Library) is a prime training ground for new superheroes . . .

Preschool Storytime Club!

Preschool Storytime Club is always a lot of fun! Today we read books about ducks and chicks and made our own "hatching eggs".  Visit us in the Children's Room for more information on Preschool Storytime Club!
