Literary Databases
Among the many useful online databases are some titles which are particularly helpful for book group discussions and for expanding understanding of particular authors and their works. These titles are Academic OneFile, Biography Resource Center, Blooms Literary Reference Online, Contemporary Literary Criticism, Expanded Academic ASAP and Literary Reference Center.

Book Groups at the Library
Afternoon Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. Come when you can -No long-term commitment needed. Light refreshments are served.
Copies of the book, some in large print, are available at the Circulation Desk. For most titles, the book is available on CD or tape and can be requested through the online catalog or with the assistance of a librarian. The group
The Second Tuesday Women's Reading Group meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month from September - June in the Library Meeting Room.
Winchester Public Library Book Discussion Group meets at 7 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. Meetings are on the third Monday of each month from September through November, (no meeting in December), and from January through June.
Parenting Book Discussion Group. In 2009 the Library and Parent to Parent joined together to offer a book group focused on a wide range of parenting issues.
