Anyone who makes a donation to the Friends of the Winchester Public Library is considered a Friend. The volunteer Board (pictured below) works to support the Library's quality of service by providing and applying Friends donations in a variety of ways.

Your donation has a direct impact on the continued excellence of the Winchester Public Library. 100% of the money donated is used to support the Library.
Your donation provides funding for resources and materials such as:
Speaking Volumes – The town-wide Library newsletter
Express Books – Current bestsellers available immediately
Heritage Quest Online – A genealogy database
Fax Machine - Available in the Reference Room for $1 per page
Museum Passes – The Friends, with the generous support of the Rotary Club and the Enka Society, provide passes to many popular area museums. Winchester residents can reserve passes online.
Children's and Teens Programs and Supplies – The Friends provide funding for numerous programs and activities throughout the year, including the popular Summer Reading Program. Visit the Children's Homepage and Teen Homepage for upcoming programs and events. The Friends also provide funding for program supplies and the replacement of toys for the Children's Room.
Adult Lecture Series – The Friends offer a variety of lectures and presentations which are free and open to the public. Visit the Events Calendar for current program information.
